Hello, my lovely people! I can’t believe another week has already started. The weekends are flying by in the summer! I was lucky enough to spend some time a couple of weeks ago with the adorable Holle family. They were so sweet, and I loved watching them interact with one another. Their youngest daughter was a past client of mine when I did her one year photos (crazy how time flies!), but they wanted to capture the whole family for this summer session, and I’m so glad they did. I just love Indiana sunsets, whether they are during summer or fall. Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!
Happy Hump Day! I hope your week is going well! I had the pleasure of capturing the photos for an adorable new baby and his parents last month, and I’m finally getting around to blogging their session. I love when parents bring sentimental items to incorporate into their session, and Tori and Joel did just that! Stone (I love his name!) was born on July 4th, which is special in itself. Tori and Joel brought along an American themed blanket that belonged to Joel’s late father and they wanted to use it for one of their setups. I was thrilled to be able to incorporate such a special thing for them! We used it in the first photo you will see below. Enjoy a few of my favorites from their session!
Happy Wednesday, loves! It’s been a while since I’ve blogged, and what better way to return than with a freebie?! I recently took a poll with my Instagram followers (ashleylaurenphotoindy) and asked which type of guide they would like to receive: What to Wear Guide or Lifestyle Session Tips. It turns out it was a 50-50 tie, so it looks like I’ll be back with another freebie soon!
I hope you find the What to Wear Guide helpful! I’ve included my top three tips when choosing your wardrobe for a session. Questions? Let me know in the comments below. Enjoy the rest of your week, friends!
Emily and Andrew are waiting to welcome a sweet baby girl into the world, and I was excited to be able to capture some maternity pictures for them with their son, Sully. I have known this fun couple for more than 10 years now (!) and photographed Sully’s newborn session. With the weather being quite chilly here in Indiana at the beginning of March, we opted to do their session inside a local green house, and I am itching to get back there and shoot at this location again! It was so perfect for what I had envisioned for their session, and Emily was (thankfully) happy to go along with my idea! I can’t wait to watch this sweet couple become parents again. Keep an eye out for their newborn session once she arrives!
There is something so amazing and wonderful about shooting Fresh 48 sessions. The newness, the sweet moments, and the awe new parents have for their baby are all worth documenting. When Rachel contacted me to shoot a session for them for their third baby, I was thrilled to be able to provide such lasting memories of their time in the hospital before leaving as a family of 5! Rachel and Brandon have two little girls at home and they didn’t find out ahead of time if they were having a boy or girl the third time around…they were so excited to find out they were adding another girl to the mix! This sweet family is sure to enjoy lots of snuggles with sweet Quincy in the days and months ahead. Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!
