The holidays have come to a close, and I’m so excited to give you a peek into my personal life with my own family! We spend the holiday season doing some of our favorite things: cutting down our Christmas tree at Lost Forty Tree Farm, breakfast with Santa at Conner Prairie, Christmas at the Zoo, and spending time with family. Liam learned to play chess, thanks to my dad, and he asked everyone that came to visit if they would play with him. All three boys were super excited about Christmas morning, and as usual, it flew by in the blink of an eye. I hope you spent the holiday season with the ones you love! Happy New Year!
Maddie is the sweetest little peach! She was so calm during her session and I loved photographing her at this age! Six month sessions are one of my new favorite things on my list of sessions I love. Maddie’s adorable romper and headbands are from The Indy Cottage Prop Shop. If you’re a newborn or children’s photographer, my friend Carly is your girl! I always love her products and everything is such great quality! You can find her shop here: https://theindycottage.bigcartel.com Enjoy some of my favorites from Maddie’s session!
This session ranks as one of my all-time favorite newborn sessions! Leslie and I have known one another since middle school and I was so honored that she chose me to take Elle’s newborn pictures (I did big brother Theo’s newborn pictures as well!). I love the natural poses as a family that we did during their session, and Leslie completely trusted me for Elle’s posed shots. Check out their adorable session below!
Catching up with Sam and Laura is always such a treat. And now they’ve added sweet Theo to the mix, which makes it even better! We shot their session at a gorgeos ranch in Zionsville, complete with horses and a few barn cats! This particular horse was extremely friendly and very interested in my camera and what I was doing. He definitely made for an interesting session! Theo was such a trooper to do a chilly Indiana sunrise session! This was a quick but perfect session!
I’ve been photographing these sweet girls since their second daughter was a newborn! I can’t believe how much they’ve grown over the years. I love seeing how different all of their personalities are…even the twins! We were determined to make this session happen after it had already been rescheduled (twice, I believe!) due to a rainy fall. So we decided on a whim to move their session to my studio in Westfield! The girls were so cooperative and I always love seeing them! I was even able to sneak in a few quick pictrures of just Mom and Dad. Enjoy a peek at their session!
